I am from Salt Lake City, Utah. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences at the University of Utah in 2021. Since graduating, I have been building clinical experience and developing my laboratory skills at ARUP in the Biochemical Genetics Department. I love the rewarding feeling of providing useful information to clinicians and having a hand in the stabilization of a patient's condition. In my free time, I really enjoy spending time outdoors, either paddleboarding or walking my dog, and indoor activities such as acrylic figure painting or engaging with the elctronic arts via video games. I hope to be able to transfer the skills that I have developed in my current laboratory to a more R&D-focused setting. I have a great eye for detail focused work and love working with my hands. Where I se the best application of my knowledge and skillset is in assay development around particular methodologies such as flow cytomertry or mass spectrometry.
