I am from Salt Lake City, Utah. I earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Utah in Health Promotion and Education with an emphasis in Emergency Medicine and a minor in Chemistry in Spring of 2021. After graduating with my B.S, I started working in the Dermatopathology Laboratory at the University of Utah as a histology technician and am now the supervisor of the laboratory. My decision to pursue an MS in Medical Laboratory Science emerged from my passion for laboratory sciences, specifically pathology. I am confident that the versatility and skills learned in this program will set me up well for future career endeavors, and I look forward to the opportunities ahead! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband trying new restaurants and coffee shops. I also enjoy reading, working out, and I host a book club.
